If an article contains incorrect, unclear or outdated information, report it through our Contact page. Include the article URL, describe the issue and add a supporting official source if available. Do not include account credentials or other sensitive information.
Handling a reported issue
We assess reports against relevant official sources. Confirmed errors can be corrected in the article. An obsolete, unsafe or duplicative guide may instead be withdrawn or replaced with a more useful resource.
Reports involving unsafe advice or incorrect support destinations receive priority. We cannot guarantee a response deadline or individual troubleshooting assistance.
Correction notes
A material correction, such as an incorrect support contact or advice with a significant consequence, should include a short note explaining the change and its date. Minor spelling or formatting changes need not have a correction note.
Review dates
Changing one sentence is not a review of an entire article. A Last checked date is changed only when the information covered by that label has actually been checked. A limited correction can be dated separately. We do not change dates merely to make old content appear current.
